Students of the Faculty of Economics visited the Cold Spring memorial, opened in Stavropol in 1972. The memorial is one of the main patriotic attractions. For the entire Russian people, June 22 is a sad date, this is the day the Great Patriotic War began.
The inhabitants of Stavropol, as well as the inhabitants of the entire Soviet Union, came out as a united front under one of the main slogans “Our cause is just, the enemy will be defeated, victory will be ours!”
Diana Sergeyevna Kenina, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics, spoke about the course of hostilities in the territory of Stavropol, about the origin of the St. George Ribbon and the origins of the St. George Ribbon action.
The ceremony ended with the laying of flowers.
