Stavropol State Agrarian University hosted a “Vocational Guidance Class Hour” for schoolchildren in grades 7-11. Future students were taught professions that can be studied at the university, including agronomy, operation and repair of agricultural machinery and equipment, veterinary medicine, animal husbandry.
As part of the event, Nadezhda Myazina and Svetlana Vasilievna Meleshko presented a brief introduction to the foundations of the federal project “Professionality” by teachers of the educational and methodological department of the faculty of secondary vocational education.
Nadezhda Alexandrovna presented the benefits of training within the framework of the project, the implementation program, development prospects, as well as information on admission, training under the Professionalism programs and subsequent employment.
Svetlana Vasilievna introduced the children to the activities of future specialists and the material and technical base of the specialties, the educational programs of which are implemented within the framework of the project: agronomy, operation and repair of agricultural machinery and equipment, veterinary medicine, animal husbandry.
The class hour was held as part of the implementation of the program to popularize the federal project “Professionality” in the Stavropol Territory, in accordance with the plan for conducting career guidance events aimed at popularizing the FP “Professionality” and supporting the admission campaign of the FP “Professionality” program in the Stavropol Territory.
