The largest Victory Banner made its way from Moscow to Minsk. Along the way volunteers held patriotic actions in 7 cities of Russia and Belarus: in Moscow on Poklonnaya Hill, in Dubosekovo, at the foot of the Memorial to the Heroes of Panfilov, in Rzhev at the Memorial to the Soviet Soldier, in Vyazma at the Military and Historical Memorial to the Western and Reserve Front Soldiers, in Smolensk at the military garrison, in Brest Fortress and in Minsk.
The event was attended by Daria Karpenko, a student of ecology and landscape architecture faculty of StSAU, and Svetlana Nekhorosheva, a student of accounting and finance faculty of StSAU.
At the events were lectures by leading experts in international relations, which were aimed at the development of youth diplomacy in Russia and the CIS through the unification of youth meanings of brotherhood, the unity of peoples and the common victory in WWII.
Within 11 days, the guys drove through the hero-cities and places of military glory. As a part of a multinational delegation with activists from 13 countries they covered more than 1500 km from Moscow to Brest. All in all, over 6000 students, activists and volunteers took part in the project activities.
The International Project "Unconquered" is implemented by the International Lomonosov Club with the support of the Presidential Grants Fund, the Federal Agency for Nationalities, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia and the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia.
"In each city, lectures from leading experts in international relations were organized for us and for local residents. Speakers talked about diplomacy, the brotherly peoples and the Victory in the Great Patriotic War," says a participant in the campaign.
