How do you get a high-paying and interesting job? Does a good education alone guarantee it? Or do we need additional competences in addition to education? On June 23, the Stavropol State Agrarian University talked about this with students in classes 7-11.
The training for schoolchildren "Setting goals for the job search path" took place thanks to the federal project "Professionalism", in the pilot of which Stavropol State Agrarian University participates. Yulia Bezina, Andrei Zhabin and Anna Loshakova, teachers of the Educational and Methodological Department of the Faculty of Secondary Vocational Education of Stavropol State Agrarian University, told the children about the tricks of job search.
The training program discussed several aspects of employment. How to write a good résumé so that employers would line up behind you. What is legal and illegal work and what dangers the latter implies. Why some of them still violate the labor laws. How to prepare for a job interview in order to make a good impression.
During the training, students formulated their own goals and ways of finding a job. Performed exercises: "Legal and illegal work", aimed at analyzing the two types of employment and describing their characteristics. They made an "Ideal Resume". Participated in the team competition "How to behave during a job interview", making a list of conditions necessary to prepare for the interview and pass it.
Such event is not the last one, and StSAU will continue to hold them for Stavropol schoolchildren.
