About half a thousand schoolchildren received their first vocational education document at StSAU

On June 30 the Stavropol State Agrarian University hosted a graduation ceremony for the second generation of graduates from the "First Profession of a Schoolchild in the Stavropol Territory" project, which is being implemented as part of the national project "Education". 475 schoolchildren from 11 municipalities of the region got the professions they needed.

Let's remind. StSAU is one of the sites of the federal project, in which 14-17 years old schoolchildren can get their first profession while studying at school, try their hand at mastering professional knowledge and skills, get practical experience, which will help them make the right choice of future profession.

The project is supervised by the regional Center for advanced vocational training, with the support of Stavropol State Agrarian University. The educational program is developed taking into account the standard school workload. Classes are held in free time and do not affect the progress of children in general subjects.

The second stream of the project took place from March 28, 2022 to June 30, 2022. Students mastered several in-demand specialties:

- Operator of electronic and computing machines

- Electrical installer - schematic engineer

- Operator of technological equipment in greenhouses

- Maid

- Agricultural machinery and equipment fitter

- Veterinary treatment operator

- Gardener

- Bricklayer

- Chef

- Confectioner

- Consultant in the field of digital literacy development (digital curator)

The educational program is carried out at 11 educational centers across the Stavropol Territory, including Stavropol. In the regional capital 72 schoolchildren mastered the profession. The training took place on the basis of the Stavropol State Agrarian University. The children were able to try on the specialties:

- Operator of electronic computers and computing machines

- Electrical installer

- Operator of technological equipment in greenhouses

- Chambermaid

- Agricultural machinery and equipment maintainer

- Veterinary treatment operator

- Gardener

The graduates and their parents were welcomed at the ceremony by Ivan Vyacheslavovich Atanov, Vice-Rector for Academic and Educational Work of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, and Olga Mikhailovna Lisova, Vice-Rector for Additional Education of the Stavropol State Agrarian University. They gave the students their first official documents of professional education.
