Schoolchildren from rural and urban districts of the Stavropol Territory became participants in the 54th meeting of student production teams. There are 260 active, success-oriented guys in total. In two days, schoolchildren showed themselves in 10 competitions: "Foreman", "Plant grower", "Horticultural grower", "Forest grower", "Landscape designer", "Ecologist", "Inventor and innovator", "Mechanic", "Technologist-livestock breeder" , "Veterinarian". Many participants come to the rally for several years. The children participate in competitions, study important disciplines, which are so necessary in everyday rural life.
The experts in the competitions were teachers of the Stavropol State Agrarian University. For the children, tests were prepared for knowledge of the direction and practical tasks. The chief judge was the dean of the faculties of agrobiology and land resources and ecology and landscape architecture, doctor of agricultural sciences, professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Nikolaevich Esaulko.
“Winners in all competitions receive an excellent prize - additional points to the results of the Unified State Examination when entering our university: 1st place - 5 points, 2nd place - 3 points, 3rd place - 2 points. The agro-industrial complex today is a trend, these are high technologies, work with living systems, genetics, selection. This is what we teach at SSAU, and they also teach us to be the best and successful! I am sure that everything will work out for you,” – the vice-rector for educational and educational work of the Stavropol State Agrarian University addressed the schoolchildren.
Throughout the meeting, a team of SSAU activists worked with schoolchildren, students were mentors and curators for schoolchildren, and of course, they organized interesting and educational leisure.
