VIII All-Russian Congress of Financial Education Volunteers

The Association for the Development of Financial Literacy (AВFL), with the support of the Bank of Russia, is holding the VIII All-Russian Congress of Financial Education Volunteers online. Students at the "ABC of Money" business school of the SmartAgro Youth Technopark of Stavropol State Agrarian University took part in a discussion of relevant topics raised by speakers at the congress.

The event was organised by the Head of the Financial Management and Banking Department, Doctor of Economics, Professor Yulia Mikhaylovna Sklyarova.The members of the "Financier" volunteer team, winners of the All-Russian competition of specialised teams of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, took part in the discussion of the regional agenda for the financial education volunteer movement.

The main purpose of the Congress is to enhance the role of financial education volunteers movement in the development of financial literacy in the Russian Federation, as well as to find points of growth and development of financial education volunteers movement.

The speakers at the Congress were representatives of federal and regional ministries and agencies, professional participants of the financial market, specialists of government agencies and public organizations of social protection of citizens, organizations working with orphanage residents and graduates, volunteer associations, and the expert and educational communities.

After the presentations and online discussion, the students were able to talk about the problems of volunteering and find solutions to them.
