Regional operational center for the coordination of work on the harvesting of grain and leguminous crops

During the meeting, the progress of harvesting was discussed, attention was paid to forecasts of grain quality and its price, as well as to the implementation of all fire-fighting measures during harvesting.

The acting rector of Stavropol State Agrarian University, Professor Valentin Sergeevich Skripkin, took part in a visiting meeting of the regional operational headquarters for coordinating the harvesting of grain and leguminous crops.

The meeting was held under the leadership of the Governor of the Stavropol Territory Vladimir Vladimirov in the Novoselitsky municipal District. The main issue on the agenda is the progress of harvesting and ensuring their safety.

According to the regional Ministry of Agriculture, as of July 15, farms of all categories of grain and leguminous crops were harvested from an area of 1516.7 thousand hectares or 68.8% of the harvest area, gross threshing amounted to 5327.0 thousand tons, with an average yield of 35.1 kg/ha.
