Stavropol State Agrarian University will teach Chinese

On the basis of SSAU, it is planned to open a school of Chinese language and culture with teachers who are native speakers.

On July 25, a meeting was held at the Stavropol State Agrarian University with representatives of the Confucius Academy of Education and Culture and Shandong University (Jinan, China).

An agreement was reached between the Stavropol State Agrarian University and the Chinese delegation on mutual cooperation in the field of education and science. In the near future, approximately in the next calendar year, on the basis of SSAU it is planned to open a school of Chinese language and culture for students and residents of the regional capital. It is assumed that Chinese will be taught by native speakers.

“For our country and Russian business, China is a strategic partner. It is problematic to develop cooperation without overcoming the language barrier. We at SSAU understand how important it is to give our business such a competitive advantage as knowledge of the Chinese language. Thanks to our Chinese partners who will help our university open a school of Chinese language and culture. We hope it will be in demand,” commented Olga Lisova, projector of SSAU, director of IDPO.

For reference. PEI DPO Academy of Education and Culture "Confucius" is one of the three testing centers in St. Petersburg, which issues international certificates. And Shandong University is one of the oldest and most numerous public universities in China.
