Strategic session «On the preparation of a report on the implementation of the strategic academic leadership program “Priority-2030”»

On August 25-24, representatives of the National Research University “Higher School of Economics” and Kuban State Agrarian University paid a working visit to Stavropol State Agrarian University. The implementation of the strategic academic leadership program “Priority 2030” is on the agenda. Before the meeting, the guests got acquainted with the material and technical base of the university and the work that is being carried out within the framework of the program. The delegation visited the veterinary clinic, examined the laboratories.

The delegation includes Nadezhda Vladimirovna Orlova, Head of the Department of Economics of Innovations in Agriculture at the Institute of Agrarian Research of the Higher School of Economics, member of the Expert Council of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation for the programs of Federal State Technical University and Rector of Kuban State Agrarian University, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Economics Alexander Ivanovich Trubilin.

The delegation was accompanied by the Acting Rector of Stavropol State Agrarian University, Professor Valentin Sergeevich Skripkin, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, Professor Alexey Nikolaevich Bobryshev.

The guests examined the material and technical base of the new educational and laboratory building: library, assembly hall, classrooms, Boiling point. The Center for Advanced Professional Training deserved special attention, Director Yulia Alexandrovna Gunko told about its achievements. Then the delegation visited the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization, including the Vector 3D Prototyping Center.

The main part of the presentation of projects and laboratories within the framework of the Priority 2030 program was presented at the Faculties of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology.

Sergey Petrovich Dannikov, Head of the Scientific-diagnostic and Medical-veterinary Center, spoke about the work of Regional Veterinary Medicine Center.

Olga Vladimirovna Delekova, Head of the Department of Parasitology and Veterinary Examination, Anatomy and Pathanatomy, told about the work of the Laboratory of Histology and Karyotyping. She also presented a dissection.

Elena Edugartovna Epimakhova, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor of the Department of Private Zootechny, Breeding and Breeding of Animals, told about the work of the vivarium.

Sergey Oleinik, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor of the Basic Department of Private Zootechny, Breeding and Breeding of Animals, told about the Center for the Management of Highly Productive Genetic Resources in Animal Husbandry, including the laboratory of milk quality control, as a subject of breeding in Russia. In his report, he also touched upon the topic of the Stavropol State Agrarian University's participation in the development of the regulatory framework for animal husbandry management.

Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Head of the Department of Epizootology and Microbiology Ozheredova Nadezhda Arkadyevna told about the work of the laboratory of the Department of Epizootology and Microbiology.

The guests were shown the functionality of the equipment of the innovative laboratory “Feed and metabolism”.

Then a Strategic session «On the preparation of a report on the implementation of the strategic Academic leadership program “Priority 2030”» was held in the main building. The leitmotif of the meeting is a report on the results of the work in 2021-2022 of two agricultural universities participating in the program. The rectors of the universities spoke about their achievements and raised some issues for discussion. Among them are the difficulties faced by educational institutions as part of the implementation of a number of measures.

Acting Rector of Stavropol State Agrarian University, Professor Valentin Sergeevich Skripkin and Rector of Kuban State Agrarian University, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Economics Alexander Ivanovich Trubilin shared their experience in achieving indicators according to the requirements of the Priority 2030 program. The second issue on the agenda was the implementation of joint projects. As a result of the meeting, promising cooperation between the SSAU and the KubSAU in the field of genetics and breeding, as well as the production of feed, feed additives and feeding technologies is planned.
