The Farmer's School is a federal project aimed at increasing professionalism in the agro-industrial complex. The Farmer's School project is being implemented in several regions of Russia, including the Stavropol Territory. Thanks to the training program, regional farmers have a unique opportunity to gain a new layer of knowledge and practical skills. The project is being implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory, the regional branch of the Russian Agricultural Bank and the Stavropol State Agrarian University.
In mid-September, the final works of the students of the fourth stream of the Farmer's School project were defended.
The training lasted from May 23, 2022 to September 16, 2022.
The training took place in four specializations: meat and dairy cattle breeding, sheep breeding, and gardening.
The audience was able to study the livestock sector at the site of the LLC «Stavropol beef» and of the LLC «Agroalliance Invest»; Sheep breeding was studied at the LLC «Stavropol Farmer» of the Group of Companies «Damate», the intricacies of horticulture were revealed by the specialists of the LLC «Stavropol Gardens».
