Teachers of the Department of Entrepreneurship and World Economy visited the first specialized buffalo farm in Russia with a full production cycle, located in the Aleksandrovsky district of the Stavropol Territory. The interaction of scientists and practitioners makes it possible to strengthen the practical aspects of teaching the academic discipline "Technological (innovative) entrepreneurship", promote the implementation of certain areas of the federal project "Priority 2030", serve as support in the formation of entrepreneurial abilities of students of our university.
Specialist of the complex Zagir Gadzhibekovich Burzhumov and veterinarian Stanislav Mikhailovich Sertakov introduced the teachers to the work of the complex equipped with the most modern equipment, the features of rearing and breeding Asian water buffaloes.
During the meeting, issues of cooperation between the teachers of the department and the specialists of the complex in the field of economic scientific research were also discussed.
The complex contains 57 buffaloes, 2 buffaloes and 49 heads of young animals. In the future, the expansion of the dairy herd to 240 heads, the construction of a plant for the production of butter, cream, matsoni and cheeses. The unique investment project is also interesting in that keeping exotic for our country animals will become an attractive object of rural tourism, providing an opportunity to communicate with calm and friendly animals, get acquainted with the production of real mozzarella, and taste various dairy products.
Such relationships of the department with innovative business allow to consolidate theoretical and practical knowledge, and direct them to anti-crisis measures.
