Opening of the acceleration program "Agro&InfraUP"

The first acceleration program "Agro&InfraUP" has been launched at Stavropol State Agrarian University. This is a unique project, for the implementation of which the team of our university won a multimillion-dollar grant from the ANO "Platform of the National Technological Initiative". The Agro&InfraUP program is designed to provide the university's project teams with methodological and expert support for fruitful work. Today, 51 teams are starting work in the accelerator, which is more than two hundred success-oriented scientists and innovators who are ready to make history and change the world.

The official start of the acceleration program was given by the acting rector of Stavropol State Agrarian University, Professor Valentin Sergeevich Skripkin.

Stavropol State University has won three grant competitions aimed at the development of science, project activities and the national technological initiative.

Grant from the Ministry of Science and Education of the Russian Federation for the development of student scientific societies in the country's universities.

Grant of the ANO NTI Platform Competition (in accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation) for the creation of "Entrepreneurial Boiling Points" — spaces for the development of student innovative entrepreneurship.

Grant of the ANO "Platform of the National Technological Initiative" for the implementation of the acceleration program "Agro&InfraUP", for technological start-up projects in the field of agro-industrial production and its infrastructure support, which allows overcoming barriers to the commercialization of scientific knowledge and developments of the university's research team.

"Stavropol State Agrarian University is the only university that has won all three projects. These are important steps for the development of science and the implementation of the ideas of young innovators. I am glad to see all of you, and I am ready to assure you that the university is ready to assist every project and every idea," said the acting rector of the SSAU, Professor V.S. Skripkin.

Stavropol State Agrarian University supports team and project work at all levels of education. 5 project – educational intensive courses have already been successfully held at our university, which were attended by students of SPE, bachelor's degree, and specialty, undergraduates and postgraduates. In the 2021-2022 academic year alone, more than 400 events aimed at the development of project activities, technological entrepreneurship and support for startups were held at the Boiling Point, in which more than 6 thousand people took part.

The partners of Stavropol State Agrarian University at all stages of the accelerator will be ready for a dialogue on financing interesting and useful projects.

The participants were welcomed by the expert of the project movement, Deputy Director of the MSU Science Park Igor Anatolyevich Popkov.

Also, all participants who have successfully completed the acceleration program will receive state-issued certificates of advanced training issued by the Institute of Additional Professional Education of Stavropol State Agrarian University.

The opening was completed with a visionary lecture "Technological development in the era of transformation and economic crises" by the Vice-rector for Research and Innovation, Doctor of Economics, Professor Alexey Nikolaevich Bobryshev.
