The activist camp is a traditional event aimed at introducing freshmen to the activists of Stavropol State Agrarian University. Every year, hundreds of students gather on the territory of the faculties of veterinary medicine and biotechnology to learn how to work in a team. This year, the SSAU Activist Camp was held for the 30th time.
On the first day, 15 freshman teams took part in the University of the Future competition. The students showed all their imagination and presented different universities: from the agro-rocket building university to the educational base of spies. After demonstrating their architectural capabilities, 15 teams briefly introduced themselves and outlined their features.
The camp took place over the course of three days. The organization is carried out by the university's activists and the student trade union committee. First-year students were greeted by the head of the SSAU youth policy department Sergey Romanovich Nogin and the head of the Center for Aesthetic Education of Students Ivan Vyacheslavovich Maklakov.
In total, almost 1000 people were involved in the mass event. The opening ceremony of the camp ended with a patriotic flash mob, which was visible even from a bird's eye view.
For the purpose of team building, agrarian activists organized a non-standard quest, in which the guys in a playful way were able to get acquainted with the territory of the university, get to know each other better, and of course, solve all the mysterious riddles.
The second day of the first-year students was occupied with an educational program, in which each participant can attend several master classes at once from the best speakers of the Stavropol Territory. There was also a presentation of the creative teams of Stavropol State Agrarian University "Gavan of Talents".
The second busy day of the Activist Camp ended with a meeting with a graduate of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources, KVN player, actor of the sitcom "Vacation" Amir Gurbanov.
The closing of the Activist Camp took place in the assembly hall of the new building. Traditionally, the most active participants received awards from the administration of the university. This year, for the first time, the completion of the Activist Camp was noted not only by Stavropol State Agrarian University, but also by other agricultural universities in Russia. As part of the teleconference between the cities, the first-year students were greeted by the Michurinsky State Agrarian University, the Chuvash State Agrarian University and the Timiryazev Academy.
The practice of holding such events has spread throughout the country, and now there are other agrarian universities in the country with their own camps. During the teleconference, the dialogue participants discussed the development of youth policy and further cooperation.
