The “Won Together” festival is the only festival created in Sevastopol on the initiative of the Heroes of the Soviet Union living near the Crimea, in memory of the military feat of the countries participating in the Second World War. Over the years of work and professional cooperation, the festival has acquired the status of one of the leading international film forums, providing a unique opportunity for creative dialogue and support for documentary filmmakers in Russia and other countries. Every year the role of the film-teleforum in the cultural life of Sevastopol is increasing, constantly pushing the geographical boundaries and inviting more and more new participants.

The Government of Moscow and the Black Sea Fleet of Russia take an active part in organizing and holding the Festival, and after the return of Crimea and Sevastopol to Russia, the festival also enlisted the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Union of Cinematographers of Russia.

SOVIETICHI, Oleg Shtrom, 52, 2022, Moscow

The documentary "Sovietichi" tells about the joint struggle against the Nazis by Soviet citizens and Italian resistance fighters. Five Soviet partisans received Italy's highest military awards "For military prowess". However, most of their fallen comrades were left lying in cemeteries under gravestones without names and surnames: at best, their Italian comrades knew the partisan nicknames "Soviets". One of these graves, in the mountains above Verona, in the town of San Zeno di Montagna, served as the choice of life for the grandson of the Italian partisan Massimo Eccli, an enthusiastic historian and philologist by education.

FORTRESS ON THE VOLGA, Stanislav Razdorsky, 60, 2015, Moscow

With all the massive heroism of the Russian soldiers, with all the vast experience and technical superiority of the German soldiers and officers, the battle on the Volga became primarily a duel between two military leaders - the commander of the Stalingrad Front, Andrei Eremenko, and the commander of the 6th German Army, Friedrich Paulus, who, after his capture, even asked about a meeting with the legendary army commander Eremenko, who defeated him. Paulus wanted to see the man he had lost to.

Our film is about the price of the victory of Andrey Eremenko and his soldiers over the army of Paulus. And also about who stood next to him in this battle, and who fought for this victory just like he did.

COLOR OF BLOOD, Sergey Abramov, 52, 2021, Sevastopol

In the center of the film is the conflict between brothers Mikhail and Evgeny Berensov. Even in their youth, they were so different that, having received officer epaulettes, they turned into irreconcilable enemies. The younger, Mikhail, saved warships, and became one of the symbols of the Russian exodus in the army of General Wrangel. The eldest, Eugene, who accepted the revolution of 1917, wanted to either destroy this fleet or take it away from his brother ...

The strength of their blood relationship was in the desire to move away from each other as much as possible. In 1920, more than 150 thousand Russian people left the Crimea on ships into the unknown. In a foreign land, they retained their Russia. But most of all they dreamed of returning.
