SSAU became the first agrarian and the only university in the North Caucasus Federal District that became part of the International Network University.
Prof. Aleksey Bobryshev, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovative Work of SSAU, Doctor of Economic Sciences, took part in the official procedure for signing an agreement on the university’s entry into this structure.
Rosfinmonitoring operates a high-tech platform for the search and training of specialists in the field of economic security for the needs of financial intelligence, transnational organizations and state corporations - the International Network University. A consortium of universities develops successful educational practices for training personnel with an emphasis on successful global cases in this area.
Since 2019, the university has trained more than 300 specialists for the needs of law enforcement, banking systems and state institutions of the region and the region. Thanks to joining the International Network University, from 2023, SSAU students studying in nine undergraduate and graduate specialties in economics, computer science and information security will be able to practice at the interregional department of Rosfinmonitoring in the North Caucasus Federal District.
- Today, the issues of food security and financial and economic security are closely linked. Cooperation with other universities as part of the International Network Institute will allow us to introduce the best world experience into our teaching methodology and share our best practices with colleagues. The opportunity to complete an internship in a structure such as Rosfinmonitoring will give our graduates practical skills in finding financial fraudsters, combating money laundering and terrorism financing, and working with blockchain technologies. In other words, we will train high-class professionals who are in demand all over the world,” said Vladimir Sitnikov, Acting Rector of Stavropol State Agrarian University.
