Competitive tests as part of the final stage of the II International Financial Security Olympiad were held at the Sirius Science and Technology Center. More than 40000 students and schoolchildren took part in the qualifying stage of the Olympiad, but only the best 500 students from 12 countries made it to the second stage. Among them were two students from the Accounting and Finance Department of Stavropol State Agrarian University - Diana Petrosyan and Nelli Burnasheva.
The Olympiad was held in several areas of financial security and financial monitoring. During the week, there were numerous conferences, panel discussions, and master classes on various topics in the field of financial security.
"I always wanted to connect my life with law enforcement. When I entered the university, I chose Economic Security because it is a symbiosis of law, accounting and banking, as well as economic analysis. It's a unique experience to try your hand along with other participants at the international level," says Nelly Burnasheva. The Olympics is an "observation" platform for potential employers. The high level of knowledge and skills of the participants was noted by Yuri Anatolievich Chikhanchin, Director of the Federal Financial Monitoring Service.
