Participation of SSAU in the business program "Development of Territories"

At the site of the international exhibition center "Minvody EXPO", the city of Mineralnye Vody, the final of the "Development of territories" direction was held, held by ANO "Russia - a country of opportunities" as part of the competition of the presidential platform "Masters of Hospitality". The best industry specialists were invited to the educational program in the Stavropol Territory, who shared their knowledge and experience.

The business program of the event from the Stavropol State Agrarian University was attended by employees of the Faculty of Socio-Cultural Service and Tourism, the Department of Tourism and Service Associate Professor Yulia Mikhailovna Elfimova and Associate Professor Irina Gennadievna Pavlenko, as well as a group of students of the 3rd year of the training direction "Service" - Anastasia Kostareva, Maria Lukinykh, Elizaveta Oleinikova, Anna Timofeeva.

At the business program, students learned how

– the hospitality industry influences on the country's economy and socio-economic development;

– the state stimulates the development of small and medium-sized businesses in the industry;

– new challenges and opportunities for Russian tourism are emerging;

– to competently follow modern trends and implement development strategies taking into account Russian specifics;

– to use territorial marketing as one of the key drivers of tourism;

– the places around are changing and for what new urban spaces appear;

– to seize opportunities during any global crisis, be able to determine, make decisions, act and not only.

Participation in the event made it possible to communicate with professionals and industry leaders, to understand the features of digital tools for transforming tourism activities, the use of which in start-ups, projects, grants will bring tourism to the Stavropol Territory to a new quality level.
