The "Logic of Thought and the Art of Persuasion" school was opened at Stavropol State Agrarian University to provide students with useful skills.
Students from the faculties of agrobiology and land resources, engineering and technology, economics and veterinary medicine gathered as interested listeners.
They were given the opportunity to master their own thinking by imparting elementary skills and abilities in the areas of thinking about a variety of issues and problems, developing ways and techniques of correct speech, argumentative argumentation and persuasive delivery of information to the audience.
The head of the school "Logic of Thought and the Art of Persuasion", associate professor at the Department of Philosophy and History Nikolai Gavrilovich Guzinin congratulated the 1st intake of students with the start of training. "They have done the right thing by taking the initiative in inculcating in themselves the ability to think more deeply and acutely, and to recognise it as most important in educational and other human activities." - He said in his address to the school's students.
