Since February this year, students from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Stavropol State Agrarian University have been helping to repair special military equipment that has been damaged in the fighting.
Thanks to an agreement between the university and a defence company, St. Petersburg State Agrarian University students undertake practical training at a plant that repairs military equipment. Under the guidance of engineers and craftsmen, they take part in dismantling old equipment, wiring systems and communications equipment. They help install new pieces of equipment. Over the past period, several dozen students have completed internships at the company.
- As a former graduate of SSAU, I am mildly envious of current university students who have such brilliant opportunities to intern at a defence enterprise and benefit their country. The leaders and teachers of the university consider their mission not only to provide students with a quality professional education, but also to bring up decent, responsible citizens, real patriots of our country," said Vladimir Sitnikov, Acting Rector of SSAU.
