The director of Rosatom's Southern Federal District office, Pavel Khotsenko, and the acting rector of the Stavropol State Agricultural University agreed on cooperation in the field of additive technologies, alternative energy, and the prospects of creating a specialised research and practice centre on the basis of the university.
The university's Prototyping Centre has equipment for 3D printing, reverse engineering, and high-precision 3D scanning, and is engaged in scientific developments in the field. St. Petersburg State Agrarian University is building the largest alternative energy sources training facility in Southern Russia. Negotiations and the development of a road map for the implementation of joint activities between the university and Rosatom are currently underway.
- Stavropol State Agrarian University has a serious material and technical base in the field of 3D modelling, engineering, and alternative energy studies. Cooperation with Rosatom enterprises will allow us to obtain new competences in the areas we intend to develop. In addition, for the students at Stavropol State Agrarian University, new opportunities for internships at the enterprises of the state corporation will open, which will give the guys a unique experience and opportunities for career development," said Vladimir Sitnikov, Acting Rector of Stavropol State Agrarian University.
