The Stavropol Territory has joined the All-Russian Savings Week, which is held as part of improving the financial literacy of the population of the Russian Federation. SSAU students will take part in a series of events, the start of which will be opened on November 28 at the Boiling Point of the University.
“We want our students to remember this week. Together with business partners, we have prepared a series of events, which are launched by the youth intellectual game “WHAT? WHERE? WHEN? in the world of finance”, which will take place on November 28, 2022 at 12:00 pm at the Boiling Point of the Stavropol State Agrarian University,” the press service of the Ministry of Finance of the Stavropol Territory reports.
The game is held as part of the implementation of a set of training activities of the regional program "Improving the level of financial literacy of the population of the Stavropol Territory and developing financial education in the Stavropol Territory for 2019-2023" by the Department of Financial Management and Banking and the Business School "ABC of Money" of the youth technopark "SmartAgro" SSAU.
The purpose of the youth intellectual game is to draw the attention of the students of the Stavropol Territory to the need to improve financial literacy.
The guests of the event will be the Deputy Minister of Finance of the Stavropol Territory Yuri Suslov and the regional coordinator of the financial literacy program Nadezhda Gerasimenko.
- In the new economic conditions, the problem of financial literacy of citizens has become global. Now this is not just a necessary life skill, but also an important factor in the economic well-being of the country, - says Deputy Finance Minister Yuri Suslov.
Students who are interested in research activities and outreach activities aimed at improving the financial literacy of young people are invited to participate in the game.
The game includes 3 rounds. Participants will form teams to complete tasks and find answers to questions on insurance, loans, taxation, consumer protection, and many others.
The winner must answer more questions using their financial knowledge, logic, wit and strategic thinking. We invite everyone to get new knowledge on financial literacy and support team members in their difficult struggle.
