The textbook as a gift "Everything about the future pension: for study and life" and practical skills and knowledge about the steps that a person must take in order not to be left without a pension in adulthood were received by the 2nd year students of the Accounting and Finance Faculty of the University from the employees of the pension fund.
The Department of the Pension Fund in the Stavropol Territory, with the support of the Ministry of Finance of the Stavropol Territory, held a business game for the students of the faculty. The guys learned about what the pension system is, what makes up a pension, how to counteract fraudsters, influence their future and receive the services of the fund without leaving home. Exciting tasks in the form of puzzles, ratings, riddles, creative tasks and cases helped to consolidate the knowledge gained.
“The main goal of the event is to form a retirement culture among young people, an awareness of the personal responsibility of each for their future,” said Elena Dolgova, head of the PFR department for the Stavropol Territory.
— It may seem funny that we teach students to calculate their future pension. Usually a keen interest in its size arises in a person on the threshold of retirement age. But at this moment it is already difficult to change anything. You need to start forming your pension as early as possible,” said Irina Glotova, head of the Finance, Credit and Insurance Department.
