Student of SSAU became the champion of Russia in judo

Nurmagomed Jamalov, a student of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources, represented SSAU at the Russian Judo Championship and won first place in the 66 kg category.

In Krasnoyarsk, the Russian Championship in judo among juniors and juniors under 21 years old was held, in which Nurmagomed achieved the champion title in the 66 kg category, defeating the representative of the Kursk region in single combat.

The student has been training since 2013 with the Honored Master of Sports in Sambo and Judo Kishmakhov Ruslan, a graduate of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources of SSAU.

“I still can’t realize that I am a winner. The final was not easy. For a long time, I tuned in, put my thoughts in order in order to reach the main fight of the day and achieve a gold medal. I dreamed about this for a long time. The coach and I are very happy, because the path to the title was long and very difficult.
