Economics majors studied the activities of the leading agricultural enterprises of the Stavropol Territory

Together with Elena Kosinova, Associate Professor of the Department of Economic Theory and Economics of the AIC, the students described the general trends in the development of agricultural enterprises in the Stavropol Territory. Future economists prepared reports on enterprises in the regions where they come from: KMW, Predgorny, Alexandrovsky, Novoaleksandrovsky, Levokumsky, Kochubeevsky, Ipatovsky and Kirovsky districts. An assessment of the economic condition of the enterprises of the agricultural sector of the Stavropol Territory was carried out, current trends and trends in the economic development of enterprises in the agro-industrial complex were considered, and promising areas of activity of agribusiness entities in the region were identified. Students studied and analyzed in detail the activities of the largest enterprises of the region, including CJSC «Baysad», LLC «Agroalliance Invest», collective farm-breeding plant «Kazminsky», LLC «Vegetables of Stavropol» and others.

Agricultural enterprises occupy a special place in the system of all production enterprises in the socio-economic system, because they are associated with the development of rural areas and the country as a whole, meeting the need for food, ensuring economic and food security, - Olga Kusakina, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Head Department of Economic Theory, Marketing and Agroeconomics, Doctor of Economics, Professor.
