A meeting was held at the Department of Ecology and Landscape Architecture "Experience of interaction between the Center for Laboratory Analysis and Technical Measurements in the Southern Federal District - the Center for Laboratory Analysis and Technical Measurements in the Stavropol Territory and the Stavropol State Agrarian University".
The meeting was the first joint event between representatives of the Russian Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources and Stavropol State Agrarian University. Thanks to close interaction with an authoritative federal agency, students in the process of studying will immerse themselves in solving actual applied problems, will receive good opportunities for building a career, scientific developments of the university will be even more actively introduced into practice, and the environmental protection industry of the region and the country will be enriched with qualified personnel, and not only ecologists - scope for self-realization is open to students of different areas implemented at the university. The result of the interaction will be an increase in the level of environmental safety of the region.
The event discussed the importance of solving environmental problems using interaction with the university and how joint plans for the formation of a conscious environmental culture will be implemented. Yuri Lesnik, Director of the FSBI “CLATM” in the Far Eastern Federal Distric", spoke about the key areas of the organization's work aimed at eliminating environmental damage, and said that he was ready to hire senior students and environmental graduates from SSAU even now. According to him, the level of salaries reaches 140-150 thousand rubles.
The meeting ended with a tour of the university, the meeting participants visited departments and laboratories, talked with colleagues and employees of the Department of Ecology and Landscape Construction.
- Stavropol State Agrarian University is a university with rich traditions, with a good scientific and practical base, which will soon be transformed into a powerful scientific and educational cluster. Within the walls of our university, colossal competencies have been accumulated, the combination of which can give a synergistic effect. To solve the problems facing Rosprirodnadzor, the competencies of ecologists, economists, engineers, etc. are needed. I think that the tools we have accumulated will be useful. Faculty students are members of the university environmental team, interact with environmental organizations of the region, participate and organize various environmental events and projects.
