Future veterinarians of SSAU studied the production of vaccines for animals from the inside

Students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine visited FKP "Stavropol Biofactory" to study modern technology for the production of biological preparations for veterinary medicine.

FKP Stavropol Biofactory is one of the largest manufacturers of veterinary vaccines in the Russian Federation and supplies its products to Europe, the CIS, the Middle East, Central Asia, and North Africa. The company produces more than 20 types of veterinary vaccines, the company's portfolio includes viral, bacterial, and antifungal vaccines. Among the most well-known products are the ATP-130 vaccine, vaccines against leptospirosis, avian influenza, carnivore rabies, clostridium and animal pasteurellosis.

Olga Galevich, head of the scientific department, introduced the excursion participants to the principles of the biological enterprise. The students saw with their own eyes the premises where biological preparations are produced using the equipment of leading domestic and foreign companies, which makes it possible to ensure the high quality of products.
