SSAU published a collection of scientific articles on molecular genetics

The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and the Faculty of Biotechnology hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Perspective Developments of Young Scientists in the Field of Veterinary Medicine, Production and Processing of Agricultural Products", following which a collection of articles was published.

Students, graduate students and young scientists made presentations on molecular genetics. Participants presented their work both online and face-to-face. Postgraduate students and young scientists of Stavropol State Agrarian University and the North Caucasian Federal Scientific Agrarian Center made presentations: on the relationship and influence of gene polymorphism on sheep productivity, on the search for new candidate genes associated with certain productivity parameters. Elena Lakota, a leading researcher at the Federal Agrarian Research Center of the South-East, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, also presented her work on the topic “Productivity of sheep depending on the severity of horniness”.

As a result of the conference, a collection was published, which includes 75 scientific articles. SSAU students submitted 19 works for the collection from the Faculty of Animal Science, 30 from the areas of veterinary medicine and veterinary and sanitary examination, and 5 from the direction of "Technology of production and processing of agricultural products."

All speakers were awarded diplomas for active participation and memorable prizes.
