Stavropol State Agrarian University was represented at interuniversity round table

Employees of the Department of Finance, Credit and Insurance took part in the round table "Strategic priorities for the socio-economic development of territories."

The round table was organized by the Faculty of Management of the Kuban State Agrarian University and the Faculty of Economics of the Donetsk National University as part of the Priority 2030 program. The event is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Kuban State Agrarian University named after I.T. Trubilin. The round table was attended by teachers of higher educational institutions of the Krasnodar Territory, Stavropol Territory, Donbass, Kalmykia and Kazakhstan, as well as current specialists from various public authorities.

The main topic of discussion was the study of the experience of managing socio-economic processes in various regions of Russia and neighboring countries. The issues of the role and place of local authorities in the current situation, human development in the context of digitalization, overcoming crisis phenomena in the economy and modern methods of training specialists were considered.

Lyubov Agarkova, Professor of the Department of Finance, Credit and Insurance, Doctor of Economics, spoke on behalf of Stavropol State Agrarian University with a report on the topic: "Attracting state support funds for the development of rural areas: development assessment and justification of tools." The report was prepared on the basis of research by scientists from Stavropol State Agrarian University, carried out as part of a grant on the topic: "Justification of strategic initiatives for the development of rural areas", implemented for the purpose of territorial and strategic planning for the development of the Stavropol Territory. The work is devoted to the problem of improving the management of the socio-economic development of municipalities in the context of responses to modern challenges in the development of rural areas and the achievement of national development goals and the transformation of approaches to effective state and municipal management.
