Stavropol State Agrarian University congratulated OOO Experimental Production Farm “Luch” on its 30th anniversary

Experimental Production Farm “Luch”, which is a reliable partner of Stavropol State Agrarian University, celebrated the 30^th anniversary of the company. Festive events were not without the participation of representatives of the university.

Experimental production farm “Luch” is an advanced seed farm, which has unique seed processing equipment and seed material in the Stavropol Territory. The enterprise has been a strategic partner of SSAU for 12 years in conducting scientific research and solving production issues. Employees of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources participate in each “Field Day”, conduct joint experiments and analyzes, and the farm makes fertilizers developed according to their system. Every year, university students have an internship at the enterprise, attend field classes on the territory of the economy, and subsequently find a job at “Luch”.

At the celebration of the anniversary of the farm, the delegation from Stavropol State Agrarian University was represented by the dean of the faculties of agrobiology and land resources, ecology and landscape architecture, professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Esaulko and the director of the educational and experimental farm of the university Alexander Voskoboynikov. They conveyed the welcoming words of the rector of the university Vladimir Sitnikov with the wishes of fruitful work for the benefit of the development of the Stavropol Territory and presented a congratulatory address and a memorable gift, expressing hope for further fruitful cooperation in the field of research activities, production and practice-oriented training of students.

At the end of the event, Grigory Dontsov, General Director of “Luch”, a graduate of Stavropol State Agrarian University, spoke. He spoke about the development of the farm, about the path traveled over 30 years and prospects for the future, noted that pig and sheep breeding are successfully developing in the pilot production farm, and the management is making adjustments to the economic strategy of the farm, taking into account all the nuances of the modern mark
