The delegation of Stavropol State Agrarian University spoke at a seminar in Moscow

SSAU employees visited Moscow for a seminar dedicated to the best practices of Russian education in the framework of international cooperation.

The delegation of the Institute of Additional Professional Education SSAU took part in the All-Russian seminar “Organization of the conduct and effectiveness of events to disseminate the best practices of Russian education in the framework of international cooperation on the territory of the Russian Federation and abroad, including those aimed at ensuring the full functioning and development of the Russian language, held under support of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation in 2022”.

The participants of the seminar discussed the best practices of Russian education within the framework of international cooperation in the country and abroad, considered new trends in the functioning of centers for the study of the Russian language and culture, modern IT solutions for organizing open education courses in Russian, current programs in the Russian language and culture for foreign citizens, advanced technologies for teaching Russian as a foreign language.

The event was held with the assistance of Vercont Service and the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. The seminar was attended by more than 100 specialists - representatives of organizations implementing measures to disseminate best practices in the development of the Russian language, leading experts, employees of universities and open education centers.

– Speakers and participants presented the results of thematic projects on the study of the Russian language. Our university this year for the first time became the owner of a grant from the Ministry of Education. We came up with and implemented an educational module for foreign students based on the perception of the language on the example of the life and culture of the North Caucasus. The training took place online and in field classes in different cities of the North Caucasus Federal District. It was interesting to look at the cases of other universities, learn from experience, and share our best practices, - said Ahmed Hammam, leading specialist in educational work at the Institute of Additional Education, SSAU.
