Teacher of the Stavropol State Agrarian University became the winner of the Russian Powerlifting Championship

Nina Mukhorotova, the teacher of the Department of Physical Education and Sports of Stavropol State Agrarian University became the absolute champion of Russia in powerlifting and set 6 national records.

At the championship in Moscow there were participants from Estonia, Lithuania, Iran, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Georgia, and Armenia, and the honor of Russia was defended by athletes from Stavropol State Agrarian University. Nina Mukhorotova, the instructor, won the 64 kg category, and also broke 6 records of Russia. Weightlifter set two records in snatch, two in clean and jerk and three in total. In total in Marina's piggy bank more than 50 records - for this at competitions she also received a badge.

Nina Mukhorotova is an honored coach of the National Powerlifting Association and a senior lecturer of the Physical Education and Sports Department of Stavropol State Agrarian University. The athlete is engaged in weightlifting since 2008. She has won numerous awards, including two silver medals at the World Bodybuilding Championship.

Athletes from StGAU also won the championship in the "juniors" category: Ivan Masalov in the 75 kg category, Alexander Deryazhentsev in the 82.5 kg category and Marina Shuba in the 60 kg category.
