The Russian language program for foreign students, which is implemented at Stavropol State Agrarian University, in addition to learning the language provides an introduction to Russian culture. Within the limits of the educational program "Walk around the city: city museums" foreign students have visited the Stavropol state museum reserve named after G.N. Prozritelyev and G.K. Prave, where more than 300 thousand museum subjects, presented in 3 halls are stored and exhibited: a nature hall, archeology hall, ethnography hall.
Then the excursion moved on to the historical park "Russia - My History". There the students delved into the history of the Russian state, its formation and growth, studied the Rurikovich and Romanov dynasty.
The delegation was accompanied by: Elena Borisovna Zorina, associate professor of the Department of Foreign Languages, Marina Igorevna Zakharyascheva, head of the preparatory department for foreign citizens and Ahmed Hammam, a leading specialist in GR POIG.
We remind you that Stavropol State Agrarian University has won a grant competition of the Russian Ministry of Education for the popularization of Russian language.
The group included 9 foreign students.
The aim of the program is to popularize the Russian language by involving foreign students in various communicative activities in order to acquire or strengthen their existing knowledge of Russian as a foreign language while implementing a variety of educational approaches to teaching, socialization of foreign students in a foreign language environment and development of the cognitive function of the Russian language.
