In Solnechnodolsk, the Cup of the Stavropol Territory in weightlifting among men and women was held. Weightlifters from our university won gold, silver and bronze in different categories.
More than 80 athletes from 7 regions of the region took part in the competition. Representatives of the Stavropol State Agrarian University demonstrated worthy results.
Azamat Makiyev, a student of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, became the winner of the 105 kg category.
Silver was taken by Nina Mukhorotova, senior lecturer of the Department of Physical Education and Sports.
SSAU weightlifters also took 3rd place in the team event.
