SSAU hosted a traditional powerlifting tournament

For the 64th time, the university hosted athletes from the North Caucasus Cup as part of the Spartakiad among students of the Stavropol State Agrarian University.

The tournament was attended by 54 athletes from all over the region: Essentukov, Nevinnomyssk, Vladikavkaz, Nalchik, as well as Stavropol sports clubs "Fitness Time", "Energy", "Leader", etc.

Category winners among SSAU students are:

· Ibragimov Magomed - student of the electrical power faculty,

· Shapovalov Danil - student of the electrical power faculty,

· Pavlyuchenko Danil - student of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources,

· Masalov Ivan - student of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources,

· Deryazhentsev Alexander - student of the Faculty of Secondary Vocational Education,

· Shuba Marina is a student of the Faculty of Secondary Vocational Education,

· Kunashenko Viktor is a student of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology.

In the team standings, the places were distributed as follows: the 1st place was taken by the Faculty of Secondary Vocational Education, the 2nd place by the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources, the 3rd place was shared by the Faculty of Engineering and Technology and Economics, the 4th by the Faculty of Electrical Power Engineering, the 5th place was taken by the Faculty of Accounting and Finance.

In the North Caucasus Cup, the SSAU team took 2nd place. The sports club "Energy" became the winner, and the sports club "Fitness Time" won bronze.

We express our gratitude to the leadership of SSAU, which supports sports activities and allows not only our students to develop and achieve sports heights, but also the athletes of the Stavropol Territory, because in our difficult time there are fewer and fewer competitions. Powerlifting is a sport that develops strength, health and beauty!
