Sleigh races, chopping off the "tail of debts" and cyber tournaments - this is how SSAU celebrated Student's Day

Perhaps the most fervent and desperate students of the Stavropol region study at the Stavropol Agrarian School. All those who witnessed the celebrations at the University of the Day of Russian Students could be convinced of this.

The celebration of the Student's Day began with a defile on a sleigh. Faculties presented home-made moving mechanical chariots with a unique design: in the form of a Russian stove, a “cherry nine”, a domestic-made tractor, etc. Some designs were equipped with horns and glowing headlights.

“Today is a wonderful holiday. It is undoubtedly common to all of us, because the Stavropol agrarian is a large family of faculty and student community. Today we will host many events, there will be a virtual reality cup, competitions, a master class in painting, a festival of cuisine of the peoples of the Caucasus. There will be many sites. The rector of the Stavropol State Medical University, Viktor Mazharov, attended the opening of the Student's Day at the agrarian university. The rectors of the two leading universities of the region held a big meeting on this day to strengthen the student brotherhood between universities in the development of the recently signed framework agreement on cooperation. Viktor Nikolayevich also congratulated the staff of the Stavropol State Agrarian University on the holiday:

— This wonderful holiday was established several centuries ago, and the tradition is alive. Student years always leave good, kind, bright memories in the memory of any person, which are a little overshadowed by sessions, but they happen only twice a year. The Tatianas of the university showed the people the gradebooks from the faculties and carried out a traditional ritual aimed at ensuring that the future sessions of the students were “smooth and sweet”. To do this, the rector of the Stavropol agrarian Vladimir Sitnikov signed each of them and sprinkled it with sugar - for good marks.

- The student's day, as always, is going great, because the agrarian doesn't know how to do it any other way. It’s not the first year that I’ve been helping the guys prepare for the event, and this time I myself became “Tatyana”. We made a veterinary ambulance sled from scratch, came up with costumes. I have already received a medal, but we will continue to participate in competitions, success awaits us, - Sofya Borisova, a student of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, shared her festive mood.

She continued the festive program "Defile of Losers" with "tails of debts" and "student mug". On this one day of the year, it was not the children themselves who had to solve the problems of debts, but the rector of the university. He personally cut off all the "tails" molded from improvised improvised materials. To ensure that the next year passed without student debts, each participant of the ceremony filled mugs with magical fortified tea, which, given the cool and windy weather, turned out to be very handy.

Tatyana competed in throwing paper "snowballs" at a distance. The winner of the competition, a student of the Faculty of Social and Cultural Services and Tourism, received a frying pan with the logo of the university as a reward.

At this competition had just begun, the guys were waiting for the sleigh race. The students divided into teams and chose the "pilot" who was sitting in the sleigh. The rest dispersed the transport and let it roll forward from the start line. The sleigh of the Electric Power Faculty rolled farthest of all. Despite the fact that the downpipe of the university was damaged as a result of the races, all participants remained alive and well. The winning team received a trophy.

Student's Day at SSAU is celebrated until the evening. Cyber tournaments Dota 2 and CS GO were held at the advanced training center. The traditional distribution of apples from Sberbank took place at the Faculty of Accounting and Finance. In the kitchen of the faculty of socio-cultural service and tourism, the SSAU Interethnic Council held a master class on cooking national dishes. The students also drew pictures together with the art studio "Contrast", played board games, took part in sports competitions between dormitories.

For 12 years in a row, Stavropol State Agrarian University was the owner of the Grand Prix of the City Student's Day, this year the main prize was canceled, but this did not prevent our students from bringing first places to the treasury of achievements. The guys earned gold in the nomination "Video" and the sports relay race on ice, bronze in the creative number, and silver went to the cheerleading group.

- Student years are devoted not only to the development of professional knowledge, but also to the development of intellect, broadening one's horizons, and social life. I wish today's students to never rest on their laurels, to be faithful to their chosen profession.
