On October 26, the acceptance of applications for participation in the Student Startup competition started. 1,500 students will receive one million rubles each for the development of their business. Students and postgraduates who have an idea of a technological project with commercial potential are invited to participate.
The competition is held by the Innovation Promotion Foundation within the framework of the Federal project "Platform of University Technological Entrepreneurship". The key goal of its activities is financial support for young scientists and small businesses.
You can apply for the contest until April 3 for free. Students and postgraduates are invited to participate. An important condition: not to have valid contracts with the Foundation, with the exception of grantees of the second year of the "UMNIK" program.
A startup should belong to any of the 7 thematic areas:
digital technologies, medicine and health, chemical technologies and new materials, new devices and production technologies, biotechnologies, resource-saving energy, creative industries.
Each of the 1,500 winners will receive 1 million rubles for the implementation of their innovative project over the next 12 months. During this time, you need to achieve the results that you specify in your application. The grant will pay the salaries of the specialists involved, as well as cover the costs of: registration of a legal entity, purchase / lease of equipment, materials, components, software and registration of intellectual property rights.

It is claimed to receive an MVP (minimum viable product) within 12 months when applying for the competition
The project is related to the import substitution of foreign technologies (products, services) and/or the development of new and modernization of existing electronic equipment and devices, including medical devices, on an accessible electronic component base.
Diplomas and certificates of completion of educational programs in the field of entrepreneurship conducted by ANO "RSV". Participation in acceleration programs of the federal project, as well as trainings of entrepreneurial competencies conducted by MIPT
Participation in the Startup as a Diploma program ― you need to take an extract from the learning process management center
Confirmed interest in the implementation of your project on the part of the university, enterprise or region ― educational department

Stavropol Agrarian University pays great attention to the implementation of student projects. In December last year, together with the Innopraktika Foundation and Uralchem Innovation LLC, the university launched the first training program for teams of student startups.
