Students of the Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture — winners of the regional competition "Let's preserve the nature of our Native land"

The Stavropol State Agrarian University hosted an award ceremony for the winners of the ecological and educational project of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium "Let's preserve the nature of our Native Land" on the territory of the Stavropol Territory.

The task of executive authorities, public environmental organizations, especially subsidized regions, is to attract the financial, technical and intellectual resources of large companies to participate in activities aimed at improving environmental education and environmental culture of young people, especially schoolchildren. Stavropol State Agrarian University has actively joined the work on environmental education and education of the younger generation.

The competition was attended by school students from all districts of the Stavropol Territory and students of the Stavropol State Agrarian University. As part of the environmental education project by the Caspian Pipeline Consortium in 2018, representatives of the Department of Ecology and Landscape Construction held open environmental lessons for young people of the Stavropol Territory, during which they talked about the role of youth in solving environmental problems, and about the requirements for children's work competitions.

The richness of the nature of the Stavropol Territory is reflected in the works of the contestants — with a special emphasis, mood and feeling. The students presented their works in four categories of the contest: an art contest, a photo contest, a video contest and a literary contest.

Stavropol Agrarian University under the guidance of mentors, teachers of the Department of Ecology and Landscape Construction, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor Elena Stepanenko and assistant Valeria Khalikova, was worthily presented by students of the Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture:

video reporting contest "How I protect nature": 1st place — Ksenia Dikaneva, Alyona Dobrovolskaya; 2nd place — Andrey Krinitsky, Maria Sadovaya;

drawing contest "Poacher is an enemy of nature!": 2nd place Anton Fedoseev, 3rd place — Arina Butali;

literary contest "Into the world of protected nature — with a kind heart": 1st place — Anna Postnikova, 2nd place — Ekaterina Aksenova, 3rd place — Anastasia Sklyarova.

Prize-winners and diploma winners of the competitions were awarded with diplomas, diplomas and valuable prizes. The analysis of long-term practice has shown that close cooperation of various tasks and functions of state and non-state organizations contributes to the improvement of the system of environmental education and environmental education, forms a sense of patriotism and love for the nature of the native land.
