Students of SSAU were given a tour of the distillery "Strizhament"

2nd year students of the direction "Food from vegetable raw materials and Horticulture", as well as students of the direction "Agronomy of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources" together with senior lecturer of the Department of production and processing of food from vegetable raw materials Maria German visited the leading Russian enterprise for the production of vodka products Distillery "Strizhament".

Graduate of Stavropol Agrarian University and Director of Production Sergey Moneyed gave students a tour of the enterprise, told about the intricacies of creating vodka and alcoholic beverages, explained in detail the process of processing fruit products coming to the plant for further processing. Oranges, quince, feijoa, pomegranate, raspberries are used to create craft moonshine, which is produced only by this plant, as well as for collectible sweet tinctures and other products that are popular not only in Russia, but also in the CIS countries and East Asia.

Sergey Denezhny noted that students and graduates of our university have a decent level of knowledge, both theoretical and practical, and offered students several interesting and highly paid vacancies.
