On February 2, the intellectual Olympiad "Egg in Your Life", dedicated to the Day of Science in Russia, was held at the basic Department of private Animal Science, breeding and breeding of animals by activists of the student scientific society "Poultry Breeder".
The purpose of the Olympiad "Egg in Your Life" is to expand students' knowledge about the quality of eggs of farm birds according to world standards in a competitive form. The students expanded their professional horizons and got motivation for cognitive activity, improved their communicative competencies and consolidated professional terminology in Russian and English.
The event was attended by 3rd year students of the Faculty of Secondary Vocational Education and 1-4 years of bachelor's degree. In the form of brainstorming, students competed in seven contests, accompanied by a Web presentation. The answers of the teams in the jury were evaluated by Professor Elena Epimakhova, Associate Professor Alexey Pokotilo and Olga Bobrovskaya, Head of the service department of the scientific library of Veterinary Clinics.
During the work of the teams, an active discussion of interesting facts about the eggs of farm birds took place between the spectators-fans. All participants of the Olympiad received a "Certificate" and chocolate souvenirs.
