SSAU students will be able to do an internship at the largest enterprise of the MOLVEST agricultural holding

Teachers and students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and the Faculty of Biotechnology met with representatives of the agricultural enterprise "Novomarkovskoye" - the largest enterprise in the agricultural holding "MOLVEST".

The meeting was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Faculty of Biotechnology, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Valentin Skripkin.

- The strategic task of the educational process at the university in specialized areas is aimed at the formation of relevant knowledge, skills and abilities of agricultural production from the inside. To this end, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and the Faculty of Biotechnology regularly hold meetings with promising representatives of employers. We are ready to develop trajectories of educational activities to meet the needs of the enterprise and business. The emphasis in modern conditions is placed on strengthening the educational process and the quality of training - namely, on a practice-oriented approach. This is the only way to get a primary understanding of how close the chosen profession is to you and to get the necessary professional competencies that are in demand,” said Valentin Skripkin, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and the Faculty of Biotechnology, Doctor of Biology, Professor Valentin Skripkin at the opening of the meeting.

The main report was presented by Vladimir Alexandrovich Pulin, General Director of Novomarkovskoye LLC.

– Today, 960 people work in Novomarkovskoye LLC. The average salary of a young specialist starts from 50 thousand rubles. The enterprise allocates company vehicles to employees, issues overalls and pays for food in the canteen, which has become twice as large after a major overhaul carried out there in the summer. Accommodation is provided. Every fifth employee is under thirty years old. But the basis of the team is made up of specialists with extensive work experience. It is they who lead the youth, pass on experience. The largest dairy farm in the region contains about 17 thousand heads of cattle. Of these, four and a half thousand are a dairy herd, represented by four breeds: Montbeliarde, Jersey, Holstein-Friesian and Voronezh Red-and-White. We are completely open and ready to cooperate with faculties and universities in general,” he said.

The head of the company's Training Center Natalya Petrovna Pluzhnikova told the students about the holding, the specifics of internships and internship programs, and career prospects. This year, many of the future veterinarians, zooengineers and technologists in the field of agricultural products processing will undergo training and work practice in the conditions of the MOLVEST agricultural holding.

In addition, students were offered the opportunity to undergo undergraduate and research practice under the guidance of experienced mentors. Particular attention will be paid to students from 3, 4, 5 courses, they will get acquainted with the conditions of real production. Starting from the second year, the practice is already paid for by the enterprise. How this acquaintance will pass will depend on the official powers of each young specialist.

By organizing this format of the meeting, the management of the faculties and "Novomarkovskoye" LLC set itself the task of not only introducing the faculty and students of SSAU to the enterprise, but also further developing relations between production and the educational institution in the form of concluding a form of an agreement on practical training of students.
