Stavropol State Agrarian University students were rewarded with nominal scholarships by one of the strategic partners of the university - "Avgust" JSC.
On the Day of Russian Science, the company "Avgust" held an open lecture at the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources. The event was organized by the Dean of the Faculty, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Esaulko and Deputy Dean for Practical Training of Students, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor Alena Ozheredova.
During the lecture, presentations on pests and diseases of agricultural crops were made by representatives of the company, graduates of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources - sales manager, postgraduate student of the Department of Chemistry and Plant Protection Larisa Mirgorodskaya and manager-technologist Alexey Gaidamakin. Tim Akimov, manager-technologist for special crops, told students about the main pests and diseases of fruit crops.
Also, a graduate of SSAU, the head of the company's representative office, Sergey Kuzmishkin, told the students about the work of the company and informed them about the opportunity to receive a nominal scholarship with the prospect of an internship at JSC "Avgust". During the event, Sergey Kuzmishkin noted two candidates for a scholarship from the company.
In addition, the partners of the university held a quiz, according to the results of which they awarded valuable prizes to students.
