A meeting of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Territory was held on the territory of the Prikumskaya agrochemical service station of the Budyonnovsky urban district on the topic: “Agrochemical support for spring field work, early spring top dressing of winter crops and the features of its implementation in 2023 in the Stavropol Territory”. The event was attended by the head of the Department of Agro chemistry and Plant Physiology, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor Evgeny Golosnoy.
In his report, the scientist of Stavropol State Agrarian University touched upon the effectiveness of early spring top dressing of winter wheat in various soil and climatic conditions of the Stavropol Territory. Conclusions were drawn on the basis of the agrochemical work carried out by the laboratory of agrochemical analysis of Stavropol State Agrarian University. Since winter wheat is the main grain crop on the territory of the Russian Federation and the Stavropol Territory, the laboratory proposed optimal solutions in the form of methods for calculating the doses of early spring top dressing against the background of moisture availability and the content of nitrate nitrogen in the soil meter profile, in order to regulate the current situation by enterprises and ensure timely and high-quality carrying out spring field work at the optimum time.
The event was also attended by partner companies of Stavropol State Agrarian University - the leading mineral and chemical companies of the Russian Federation PhosAgro and EuroChem, who spoke about the highly effective products available for spring field work for the main crops of our region.
