Stavropol State Agrarian University will help schoolchildren get their first profession!

A new stream of students of the regional program “The First Profession of a Schoolchild in the Stavropol Territory” is starting at the Center for Advanced Professional Training, located on the basis of Stavropol State Agrarian University, the participants of which will master their first specialties for free while still studying at the school.

Students in grades 8-11 from all schools in the Stavropol Territory will be able to take part in the program. Over the course of four months, they will master professional knowledge and skills that will help determine the choice of a future specialty. As a result of the training, students will receive the first certificates of a working profession.

The training programs include face-to-face visits to specialized enterprises in the Stavropol Territory. Classes are held on the basis of modern workshops and laboratories, in colleges, technical schools and universities. In particular, only within the walls of Stavropol State Agrarian University within the framework of the program “The first profession of a schoolchild” you can get the following specialties:

- operator of electronic computers,

- advertising agent,

- car mechanic,

- manual metal arc welding welder,

- gardener,

- mechanic for the repair of agricultural machinery and equipment,

- cook,

- animal veterinary operator,

- photographer,

- insurance agent.

The schedule of classes is agreed individually; classes are held in their free time from the main studies. Currently, the Center for Advanced Vocational Training of the Stavropol Territory implements 20 working professions, and every year the list is replenished with the most relevant and popular specialties.

In 2023, it is planned to recruit two streams of listeners: from March to June and from September to December. The duration of the program will be 144 hours.

Applications are collected on the website of the Center for Advanced Vocational Training of the Stavropol Territory until March 7, 2023.

Recall that in December last year, the third graduation of students of the regional program “The First Profession of a Schoolchildren of the Stavropol Territory” took place, schoolchildren tried themselves in 11 different specialties and received their first certificates in the profession.
