The Day of Russian Student Detachments was held at StSAU

The Boiling Point of Stavropol State Agrarian University celebrated the 58th anniversary of the Stavropol Student Detachments.

During the 58 years of its existence, 492,329 boys and girls have worked in the Regional Student Detachment. Present-day student teams of Stavropol Region actively participate in All-Russian and interregional projects. More than 1,500 counselors of Stavropol Territory work in 21 children's recreation camps in Stavropol and Krasnodar Territories and cover over 45,000 children. Members of student service and medical teams take an active part in providing services to children and adults at health resorts and medical institutions in the Stavropol Territory, the North Caucasus and the South of Russia. As a part of the All-Russian Student Agricultural Team "Most" in 2021-2022 guys worked with large herds of cattle. And in 2023 6 representatives of student agricultural team "Aybolit" from Stavropol State Agrarian University according to the results of the selection stage entered the All-Russian team "MoSt - 2023".

There are 10 student teams at Stavropol State Agrarian University, which are included in the combined team "Agrarian" - almost 1200 men. The work of students is divided by directions: agricultural groups and groups of social orientation. Last year students gathered 250 thousand tons of grain, and the total payroll of the team amounted to more than 5,5 million rubles.

- Our oldest squad "Kolos" is 27 years old. Since 1996 every year kids go to work in the fields, gaining experience, and most importantly, they learn to love the land and appreciate the fertility of their native land, - said Vladimir Sitnikov, Acting Rector of Stavropol State Agrarian University.

- I am the commander of the staff of student detachments "Agrarian" of the Stavropol State Agrarian University. Our staff consists of 10 specialized units, and their activity is absolutely diverse: from teachers to veterinarians. This year the staff increased and the number of fighters counts more than a thousand of our students. Every year we participate in various competitions. Last year the "Agrarian" showed its worth at the competition of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia among the student squads, the guys brought prizes. This year we are not going to lower the bar and go only forward, - said the commander of the Student Detachment Headquarters "Agrarian" of Stavropol State Agrarian University Alyona Devyataikina.

On the occasion of the festive date were awarded the outstanding members of the student squads of Stavropol Region. Alena Devyataikina, commander of the Staff of student detachments "Agrarian" of the Stavropol State Agrarian University was awarded an honorary badge "For active work in the student detachments". Ivan Atanov, Vice-rector for education, educational work and youth policy of Stavropol State Agrarian University, was awarded the Certificate of Merit of the Russian Youth Public Organization "Russian Student Detachments" for his great personal contribution to the development of student detachments.
