A meeting with Vyacheslav Anisimov, a representative of the National Research Center "Kurchatov Institute", took place at the SSAU. The scientists discussed plans for further cooperation and outlined a number of joint tasks.
At the end of January 2023, an Agreement on scientific and technical cooperation was signed between Stavropol State Agrarian University and a division of the National Research Center "Kurchatov Institute" – the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution "All-Russian Research Institute of Radiology and Agroecology" (FGBNU VNIIRAE). To indicate the plans for the implementation of the positions of the Agreement, the Department of Soil Science named after Professor V.I. Tulpanov of the SSAU was visited by a representative of the Research Institute Vyacheslav Anisimov.
The head of the Department of Soil Science named after Professor V.I. Tulpanov, academician of the Russian Academy of Ecology, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Valery Tskhovrebov and Vyacheslav Anisimov, responsible for carrying out work on the topic of the state task within the framework of the Agreement from VNIIRAE, discussed the planned goals of joint work and outlined a number of tasks to be solved by the staff of the department.
During the meeting, the parties agreed to conduct studies of soil samples delivered by a representative of the Research Institute from a number of districts, urban and municipal districts of our region, Rostov Region and the Republic of Crimea in the soil laboratory of the department to determine the pH level, CO2 content, amount of exchange bases, absorption capacity, humus, aggregate analysis of soil samples, cadmium content and strontium, as well as nitrate and ammonium forms of nitrogen, mobile forms of potassium and phosphorus, and gross element analysis.
