On the eve of Defender of the Fatherland Day, a meeting with the guide of the Patriot Youth Center Anna Kovalenko took place in the Stavropol State Agrarian University.
The organizers of the event were the Museum of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 "Memory", the Department of Philosophy and History of the SSAU headed by the head of the Department, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Evgeny Tufanov and the head of the Department for Educational Work and Social Issues of the SSAU, Associate Professor Tatiana Ivanovna Gunko.
About 300 students from different faculties of the university gathered at the meeting, who took part in a virtual excursion "The City in a soldier's overcoat". Lively interest was aroused by memories of little-known heroes—Stavropol residents who performed heroic deeds during the occupation of the city - Neli Belyavskaya, Gennady Golenev and many others.
