The Cup of the Stavropol Territory and regional kickboxing competitions have ended in Stavropol. Nazar Vasiliev, a student of the Faculty of Accounting and Finance and an activist of the Kolos student sports club, adequately represented the university and took first place.
Regional kickboxing competitions were held from February 16 to 19 and were timed to coincide with the celebration of the Defender of the Fatherland Day. More than 350 athletes from all over the Stavropol Territory, as well as Kabardino-Balkaria and the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, took part.
Stavropol State Agrarian University was presented by a first-year student of the accounting and financial faculty of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, an activist of the student sports club "Kolos" Nazar Vasiliev. The athlete took first place in the age category of 17-18 years and the weight category up to 60 kg.
- My passion for sports began in childhood, when my parents sent me to the section, and now it is already a part of my life. I used to compete in taekwondo, and this year I also started in kickboxing. I spend about two hours a day training, I do it 5 times a week. Faith in myself, persistent and regular training, coaching instructions and, of course, the support of my loved ones helped me win, - shared a student of the Faculty of Accounting and Finance Nazar Vasiliev.
