The meeting was moderated by Chief Economist of the Economic Department of the Southern Main Directorate of the Central Bank Alexander Gladilin, Head of the Department of Financial Management and Banking, Doctor of Economics, Professor Yulia Sklyarova, and Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Financial Management and Banking Lyudmila Latysheva.

As part of the master class, Alexander Gladilin told the students of the Stavropol State Agrarian University about how the modern economy works and why it is important to manage inflation, highlighted the features of the monetary policy of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation in modern conditions, the impact of inflationary processes and tools through which the regulator affects the economy . The speaker also spoke about the importance of monetary instruments - the key rate, inflation targeting, the impact of monetary policy on economic processes. He dwelled in detail on the interaction of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation with SSAU in the preparation of highly qualified specialists through internships, participation in the Olympiad in financial literacy, participation of university teachers in working groups on topical issues of the monetary policy of the Bank of Russia and financial inclusion, development of the regional financial market and competition in it, as well as writing graduation papers on the subject proposed by the bank.
