Students of the Economics Faculty — winners of the international marketing tournament

The results of the final of the II International Marketing Tournament "USkills-up Marketing Battle", established by the Kazakhstan Marketing Association and Turan University, became known. Students of the Faculty of Economics of StGAU as part of the "MarketeRRa" team took 3rd place and became the second Russian team to enter the top three winners.

The international marketing tournament "USkills-up Marketing Battle" is organized by the Kazakh University "Turan". Its goal is to support the development of universities and colleges in teaching students marketing disciplines and identifying their potential. The tournament is held for students who want to apply their knowledge and skills in solving practical problems in the field of marketing, as well as to promote the profession of a marketing specialist.

The tournament was held in absentia in an online interactive format and included 2 rounds: the first preliminary absentee qualifying round based on the evaluation of the presentation. The evaluation of the participants' works at this stage was carried out according to a 100-point system in two categories — content and visual presentation; the second full-time round was a Tournament-Battle "Marketing Prospects in the era of metaverse" (Stand Up Battle), which was conducted by face-to-face competition of the final participants in the interactive format "Stand Up Battle" in online mode "Turan".

The online event was held with the support of the Center for Advanced Vocational Training. Teachers of the Department of Economic Theory, Marketing and Agroeconomics took part in the preparation of participants for the competition: Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Ekaterina Agalarova, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Yulia Gunko and Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Yulia Rybasova.
